The Southwest Florida Water Management District is opening the Conner Preserve to the public for the first time this Friday, January 16. Events planned for the day include a ceremony, guided hikes, model airplane demonstrations, children’s activities and water quality monitoring demonstrations. Activities on Friday will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The regular schedule for the 2,980-acre property will be from sunrise to sunset. For more information, check out SWFWMD's website.
